Project Description
The elaboration of the Macrozoning is a process built together with the civil society, government and university, guided on the construction of a meaning of metropolitan citizenship. It is about establish a continuous process of discussion, cooperation and integration of knowledge sharing a mutual learning process for planners and civil society.
The organization of the territory through the Macrozoning will certainly contribute to a more balanced communitarian life; however, this tool by itself is not capable of solving all the problems in the metropolitan region. Hence, the Macrozoning process of construction needs to go beyond itself, contributing to create a metropolitan identity promoting the relations of the population with its territories.
It is important to have every single one to build the project of the Metropolitan Macrozoning. Only through a wide participation of the metropolitan citizens, it will be possible to construct a more legitimate democratic and social process, which can correspond to the real metropolitan needs.
Because of that, we here emphasize once more our invitation: attend the workshops and seminars and bring your contributions to the project!
